Your blood is drawn into two sterile, preservative and chemical free tubes, then spun in a special, angled centrifuge. It is then heat-treated and cooled per a specific protocol to extend its working properties. This makes it readily available as a 100% natural injection material without ANY foreign body materials or chemicals whatsoever.
Instead of breaking down over time the way a synthetic HA (hyaluronic acid) filler can, biofiller is slowly reabsorbed by the body evenly without risk of lumps or uneven distribution and acts as an excellent scaffolding beneath the skin.
Your skin will produce more Collagen (to create Lift), Fibrin (to improve texture), Elastin (to enhance elasticity), and Hyaluronic Acid (to restore Volume). By combining the Platelets with Fibrin, the platelets are able to live and perform their revitalizing function.

What is the downtime?
You may return to your regular activities without any restrictions.

Does the procedure hurt?
A blunt tip cannula is used to place the bio filler in the areas of deficit. Except for some pressure, it is generally very well tolerated and a topical numbing is used.
Is there bruising or swelling?
Yes, there can be bruising and swelling at the injection site as with any facial procedure. Swelling can last 2-4 days. Bruising is usually extremely mild. Please do not plan any events, family pictures, etc. for 2 weeks AFTER the procedure.
How many treatments will I need?
It is very important to plan for THREE treatments spaced at 8 week intervals, however, this is dependent on many factors and is not an absolute. Some patients can go 6 to 9 months without requiring a second treatment, some need to be retreated at 8 weeks. Again, this varies but we like to set the expectation up front that a series of three MAY be needed. A series of three treatments can yield results for up to 2 years, however, yearly maintenance is recommended.
